Chattanooga, Tennessee - Pathway Polymers Inc has sold its Puma Polymers division to two of its former executives, Gerrett Peters, former president, and James Sowersby, former chief strategy officer, the company said 1 June.
The division, still housed in Chattanooga, will be named Puma Polymers llc and includes a number a specialised urethane products including Por-a-Mold (mould making elastomers for the precast concrete market) and Por-a-Kast, (high hardness urethane for casting, moulding and speciality additives), as well as Puma-Bond urethane to metal and urethane to rubber bonding agents and Puma-Coat mould paints, the statement said.
The company, part of the Vita Group plc, will retain its Tolling and TyrFil divisions, including TyrFil Flatproofing, TyrLiner, TyrKast, Sealant and Ballast product lines together with its AutoFil and TrioFil recycler machines for use in industrial and construction tyres. (RD)
