Brzeg Dolny, Poland – PCC has received a grant to help build its alkoxylate plant from the Polish government. (link here)
The PLN42.12 ($10.4m) grant is payable between 2023 and 2026. PCC said it secured the grant because it is investing PLN351m in the facility.
In December 2021, PCC said that it had chosen technology from Desmet Ballestra, Milan, Italy, to produce ethoxylates, polyalkylene glycols and polyether polyols and other ethoxylated products at the facility.
The new plant will use ethylene oxide from PKN Orlen.
