Brzeg Dolny, Poland — PCC Rokita is facing a possible fine because it may have not sufficiently reduced its electricity consumption between 10 and 31 August 2015.
The Polish Energy Regulation Office has initiated an administrative procedure which could lead to a fine, PCC said in a press release. Data seen by PCC from the Distribution System Operator (OSD), suggests that PCC may have exceeded the limit by under 1% for under an hour on 31 August 2015.
PCC Rokita said that acceptable level of capacity during this period amounted to 72 MW, and that the OSD said it exceeded this level by 0.705 MW.
The company said it disputes this finding and said its measurements differ from the regulators.
