Brussels – There was a hands-on theme at this year's PDA-Europe meeting held on 21 and 22 November here.
The first day started with a spray-gun workshop and an introduction to polyurea. As part of the spray gun workshop, participants were encourages to dismantle and assemble a wide range of spray guns available in Europe. They were then encouraged to manipulate the guns. This, the PDA Europe said was to help members to understand what guns can do and how they are assembled.
The introduction to polyurea was aimed at applicators and contractors. It covered ways to apply polyurea and the different types of equipment available.
The conference was updated on the state of diisocyanate regulation.
A campfire session of questions and answers from the floor was also part of the proceedings.
In the formal part of the meeting Keltoum Sakour of Albemarle retained his position as association president and Gjiorgjija Tasevski was appointed President elect.
