Kansas City, Missouri - The US Polyurea Development Association has released what it claims is the first comprehensive independent study of markets for pure polyurea and hybrid systems.
This study of the global polyurea industry is now available to the general public. The study was funded by the PDA as part of its ongoing efforts to promote clarity and understanding of the rapidly expanding polyurea technology industry worldwide.
The PDA said this inaugural industry study defines the size of the supply base for polyurea products on a global basis. It covers data for North America, Europe, Asia and the rest of the world.
Market research group Ducker Worldwide of Troy, Michigan, compiled the study, which establishes data on polyurea use that can be used to chart industry direction and trends in coming years, the PDA said.
This study was sponsored by PDA members and important corrosion-related industry associations including SSPC (the US Society for Protective Coatings), NACE (a US anti-corrosion group) and CoatingsPro Magazine. LW
