Kansas City, Missouri --The US PDA is currently assessing potential presentations for its upcoming 2012 Annual Meeting, where papers will be given 26 - 29 March.
The PDA, which recently expanded its remit to include a wider range of elastomeric coating materials, says it is looking for a variety of business/technical presentations with suggested topics covering:
Thick-film elastomeric coatings;
Specifying coatings: from an architect/engineer/specifier;
New uses for polyurea;
Job gone wrong: how to prepare for arbitration/mediation/litigation;
Safety: language barriers or age and accidents or confined space entry programs/permits or spotlights;
Profitability: contract verbiage and word tone: How to bid a job reviewing various contracts and identifying clauses you want to avoid;
Effective selling: Do you really know your customer?
There will be separate tracks for formulator presentations as well as for applicators. See the PDA US website for more details on these, at www.pda-online.org/
