Texas, US – Perma-Pipe has received another order for its thermal insulation products in the Gulf Cooperation Council region. The value of the project is estimated to exceed $43m, and is expected to start in the third quarter of 2025.
It will use the company’s Trace-Therm system. This involves spray polyurethane foam insulation, jacketed with an HDPE casing.
The products will be supplied from its Abu Dhabi manufacturing facility, which opened in 2023. Other products made there include its Xtru-Therm with spray PU foam insulation, and Poly-Therm, which have PIR insulation and a fibreglass-reinforced outer jacket.
“This award follows the successful execution of numerous development projects in the region,” said Saleh Sagr, SVP for the MENA region at Perma-Pipe. “Our differentiated coating solutions have proven to be well-suited for technically challenging projects.”
The Spring, Texas-based company has manufacturing plants in six countries around the world. It signed up to supply insulated pipes to Saudi Arabia last year.
