Perstorp, Sweden - Speciality polyols producer Perstorp said it has continued to show its commitment to Latin America by doubling staff in the region over the past two years. The Swedish company is due to present several new products for the region at this year's in São Paulo, Brazil.
Since 2010, Perstorp has experienced a 35% sales growth in the Latin American region, with an ambition to double in size by 2015, the company said in 24 July news release. It added that it is already seeing sales growing at a double-digit rate in 2013, partly due to the development of Mexico and Central America, as well as greater availability of core products.
"With many years' experience, we know the individual markets and have adapted and grown our organisation to meet their needs," commented Claudio Gaino, head of the Latin American business.
Perstorp said it will introduce its Capa polyurethane polyols for leather and shoe coatings, as well as its Charmor, Boltorn and Voxtar ranges at Abrafati, to be held in September.
