Loudon, Tennessee -- Stakeholders in the US flexible polyurethane foam industry are being asked to submit topics for technical presentations to be given at the 21 May 2009 Polyurethane Foam Association Technical Program by 27 Feb. The spring 2009 PFA meeting is being held at the Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland.
The PFA welcomes technical papers summarising recent research and product developments on processing of flexible polyurethane foam, innovations in formulation and foam production technology. "We also encourage papers on product sustainability and environmental issues that may affect flexible PU foam production or specification," said the PFA's call for papers.
The papers must have a non-sales focus, the association reminds those interested, and should specifically address topics related to slabstock or moulded flexible polyurethane foam production in North America.
At most, eight presentations of 30 minutes each will be scheduled for the meeting. Those wishing to present their work in Baltimore should send a short summary (abstract) of the intended content to Bob Luedeka ([email protected]).
