Loudon, Tennessee - The Polyurethane Foam Association (PFA) has issued an 18 Sep 2009 deadline for submitting requests for technical presentations for the November 2009 PFA General Business Meeting and Technical Programme, the association said recently.
The PFA is encouraging papers summarising recent research and product developments related to the processing of flexible PU foam, innovations in formulation, and foam production technology as well as papers on product sustainability and environmental issues that may affect flexible PU foam production or specification, the statement said. All papers must have a non-sales focus and specifically address topics related to slabstock or moulded flexible polyurethane foam production in North America, the PFA added.
The 4-5 Nov 2009 PFA General Business Meeting and Technical Programme will be held at Wentworth by the Sea Hotel & Spa, a Marriott property, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. A maximum of eight presentations, each 30 minutes in length, will be scheduled for the November meeting.
A short summary (abstract) of the intended content must be submitted with your request to make a presentation, the statement said. Please send your request, with abstract, to PFA executive director Bob Luedeka at [email protected], or call 001 865 657-9840. (RD)
