Knoxville, Tennesse-The US Polyurethane Foam Association says that anyone wanting to make a technical presentation at it 23 May meeting in Baltimore should submit a request by 23 Feb.
"Technical papers summarising recent research and product developments related to the processing of flexible polyurethane foam, field studies, innovations in formulation or processing technology will be welcomed," said a PFA announcement from executive director, Bob Luedeka.
The PFA stressed that, "papers must have a non-sales focus and specifically address topics related to flexible polyurethane foam production in North America."
The association intends to have a maximum of eight presentations, each 30 minutes in length, at the meeting-to be held at the Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel, Baltimore, Maryland.
Luedeka added that if at least six papers are accepted, the presentations will be assessed to compete for a $500 Technical Excellence Award provided by the Herman Stone Family Endowment.
Those wishing to speak should submit a short summary of the intended content. For additional information, please contact Bob Luedeka
