Loudon, Tennessee - The US Polyurethane Foam Association has introduced a new federated membership for companies with production exclusively outside the US.
The will be aiming at members from South and Central America. Companies wishing to join must agree to abide by US anti-trust laws and agree to report monthly production volume on a confidential basis to an independent, accounting firm. This will be used to produce blended regional production trend information. Sole members in individual companies will be exempt from the reporting requirement, until more members from that country have joined, said a PFA spokesperson in a 2 April telephone interview.
New members will get discounted entry to PFA events, all PFA communications and monthly production trade reports from the US and other federations.
