Ohio, US – Philpott Solutions has acquired injection moulding specialist Castino. It will add further capabilities to Philpott’s portfolio, which includes cast urethane products.
Family-owned Castino has facilities in Romulus, Michigan and Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. It specialises in the manufacture of polyurethane and other plastic components via injection moulding, including rapid prototyping. It is a Tier One and Tier Two supplier to OEMs, particularly in the automotive sector.
“We’re pleased to add Castino’s highly regarded manufacturing facilities to our own company,” said Ferrell, Philpott’s president and CEO. “The purchase went smoothly, and we have every expectation that the integration will be seamless as well.”
