Taby, Sweden – Piab has expanded its Bellows Polyurethane range of suction cups. The new cups are 150 and 200mm in diameter.
The company says these suction cups can be used to handle objects of different heights when joined in one lifting device, important when handling wooden parts in furniture production.
The cups can be made entirely out of 60 Shore material for smooth, flat surfaces like glass, metal sheets and finished wood, or with a 60 Shore bellow and a 30 Shore lip, which is more appropriate for rough surfaces such as unfinished wood.
The cups also have a plug that allows a sensor to be connected to measure vacuum levels. They are made using the company’s proprietary Duraflex polyurethane.
