Danderyd, Sweden – Piab has expanded its BXP range of suction cups with the addition of a 45mm cup. The cups are particularly useful for picking objects withy porous surfaces, the company says.
The cups are made from its proprietary Duraflex polyurethane, which it says combines the elasticity of rubber with the wear resistance of PU. It does not leave marks on the objects the suction cups are lifting.
Like the existing cups in the range, the cups are available in two variations, with bellows or lips. Other fittings are also being added, for the new sizes and also the rest of the range.
“The BXP range from now on will be fully configurable, enabling refined cup selection to align perfectly with any machinery or process need,” the company said.
