Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania -- Bayer MaterialScience said that its Line-X Body Armour two-component aliphatic polyurea spray has been used to trick out a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro 1SS Coupe.
The exterior was sprayed with LINE-X Body Armour in flat black with blue accents. LINE-X also coated the Camaro's door jambs, instrument panel, speaker boxes and wheels.
BMS says the two-component, polyurea spray features:
•Low volatile organic compounds
•100% solids
•UV protection
•Several color options
•Excellent abrasion resistance
•Superior elastomeric properties and
•Unmatched color retention.
BMS As this example demonstrates, LINE-X Body Armour has a range of physical properties, including:
•Elongation of 86% to ASTM D412
•Hardness Shore D of 60±2 to ASTM D2240
•Tensile strength of 2,200 PSI(15.2 MPa) to ASTM D412
