Podgrad, Slovenia — Plama-pur, a flexible foam company, has paid its first interim dividend in 50 years of trading.
According to an announcement in Slovenian on its website, Plama-pur’s shareholders took the decision at the company’s 26th general meeting on 9 February, 2016. The dividend was paid on 29 February.
The meeting was convened to change the company’s articles of association to enable the payment of interim dividends. Plama-pur has three shareholders and is based in Podgrad, about 85 km south-west of Ljubljana.
At the meeting the company announced that it had made a net profit of EUR 3 m in 2015, and the management board was authorised to pay an interim dividend of EUR 1.5 m to the shareholders. In addition, the meeting agreed to pay an additional EUR 0.5 m in retained profit from 2014 as a dividend to shareholders.
Plama-pUR has three shareholders AG.d.d.(50%), Plasta llc (25.02%) and Thermoplastic flame llc (24.98%)
