Hamburg, Germany – Polyurethanes systems house Plixxent has acquired spray foam systems specialist Isotrie. The company said the deal will strengthen its footprint in Belgium, Luxembourg and France, as well as leverage Isotrie’s expertise in the spray foam market. It does not include the direct spray companies Isolatie, Isoltec and Poliso operating in the three countries.
Plixxent acquires spray foam systems business Isotrie
Isotrie has been working in the PU insulation foam market for more than 40 years. It has an automated production facility in Belgium that Plixxent said will enhance efficiency and broaden its production capabilities. The acquisition aligns with the growing demand for sustainable construction materials, it said, and will have a positive impact on the company’s sustainability goals.
“With this acquisition, Plixxent expands its European presence and positions itself as a market leader in the spray foam market,” said Jörg Schottek, CEO at Plixxent. “The increased presence in Belgium, Luxemburg and France opens up new opportunities for us to work with local partners, customers and foster stronger relationships within these regions but is also expanding our distribution network in Europe as a whole.”
He added that he was pleased the transaction was fully supported by all the company’s stakeholders. “We are very excited about the acquisition and look forward to working with our new colleagues in Belgium and France,” he said.
