Plixxent expands systems house portfolio
Tagos makes polyurethane systems, catalysts and coatings for the transport, hospitality, and construction sectors. It was founded in 1965.
Marco and Daniele Monzeglio, the managing directors of Tagos, said: '[We are] excited by the opportunities for growth when merging our knowledge of polyurethane chemistry with Plixxent's market power and scientific knowledge.'
Jorg Schottek, Plixxent's CEO, said: 'We have a very close relationship with the former owners, who will remain on board. This transaction represents another strategic step forward in strengthening our position.'
This is Plixxent's second purchase this year. In April, the company purchased MRi Polytech, a UK-based systems house focused on the CASE sector.
