New Orleans, Louisiana -- The keynote presentation at the 41st annual meeting of the Polyurethane Manufacturers' Association (PMA) will focus on how to grow revenue in an 'exponential economy.'
The organisation for PU elastomers will use the event, to be held April, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to analyse how manufacturers can start thinking about ways to grow their businesses again, following the years of downturn.
The event commences with a two-day processing techniques seminar (PTS) followed by a series of talks and panel discussions on the subject of "Getting Back to Growth." The meeting also will cover 'green' issues, such as the current status of some recycling and disposal options, as well as the ever-changing regulatory environment, PMA said.
The PTS is free to PMA members, PMA said. It added that the hands-on training opportunity is designed to provide an interactive learning atmosphere for PU industry professionals.
The event is to be held during New Orleans' Mardi Gras celebrations and PMA said it will hold a Mardi Gras opening reception and dinner for participants in the meering.
The 2012 PMA 41st annual meeting & PTS will be held 21-24 April in the Sheraton New Orleans, Louisiana. More information can be found on the PMA website.
