Milwaukee, Wisconsin - The US Polyurethane Manufacturers Association (PMA) is calling for technical papers for presentation during its 2009 Annual Meeting, 19-21 April 2009 at the Hilton DeSoto in Savannah, Georgia.

Technical papers are scheduled to be presented the afternoon of Tuesday 21 April, said the PMA, giving a deadline for abstracts of Friday 31 Oct 2008, so the committee can select which will be presented.

Completed papers are due 6 March 2009.

According to the PMA, these technical paper presentations have provided "an important industry opportunity to showcase technical developments to industry leaders," at the Association's meetings. Technical papers are chosen for presentation based on their technical content, timeliness of the subject, and relevance to PMA members and the industry.

PMA also presents an award to the best paper, selected by meeting attendees.

Contact the PMA office at +1 414 431 3094 or email [email protected] or go to the PMA web site for more information, or to submit your technical paper online: www.pmahome.org

The PMA is the US trade association of the cast polyurethane processing industry, serving processors of polyurethane products, materials and equipment suppliers, and independent agents. PMA says it exchanges and disseminates information on standards, materials, processes, and technical matters, in addition to monitoring regulatory and legislative activity affecting the urethane industry.
