Cleveland, Ohio - Polymer group PolyOne Corp. has reorganised its Polymer Coating Systems (PCS) into two business units.
The Wilflex inks and speciality colorants businesses and the BayOne business will be combined into a new operating segment named Specialty Inks and Polymer Systems. BayOne is a joint venture with Bayer MaterialScience to market urethane systems in Canada and the US, set up in 2003.

Poyone will integrate its remaining PCS businesses - plastisols and coated fabrics - with its vinyl business and combine this with speciality resins business to form Specialty Resins and Coatings. Dan Kickel, who was vice president and general manager of PCS, will become vice president and general manager of this new business unit, said the company.
