San Antonio, Texas - Polyurea specialist Dudley Primeaux has received a Coatings Education award for his work in the developing the Society for Protective Coatings' (SSPC) course on 'plural component application for polyurea and high solid coatings.'
Primeaux received the SSPC award, which recognises expertise and knowledge of the coatings industry, at the society's 2013 conference and exhibit in San Antonio, Texas.
Primeaux, who works for VersaFlex Inc., is also the head instructor for the Polyurea University, which holds courses in polyurea coatings and linings applications.
"The entire team at VersaFlex is very proud to have one of our people selected for this award, although it comes as no surprise that through all of his experience and efforts, Dudley will be presented with such an honour from such a strong group like the SSPC," commented David Cerchie, president of Versaflex, in a 24 Jan news release.
