Kansas City, Missouri -- Polyurea solutions developer and manufacturer VersaFlex is expanding its regional sales and service operations across the US and Canada.
Increased demand in niche markets like water and wastewater, oil and gas, military, infrastructure, marine coatings and anti-microbial applications prompted the firm to develop a regional sales team, according to a press release.
The team – comprised so far of sales manager Todd Gomez and sales representative Rudi Rennert – will focus on educating construction engineers, architects and plural component spray applicators about polyurea coatings and linings innovation.
VersaFlex's director of marketing Doug Commette said: “Combined with the training resources of Dudley Primeaux and the Polyurea University programs we will be able to better educate and service the specifying and installing sectors for the coatings market.”
Gomez is a member of SSPC and he is a SSPC-certified protective coatings specialist, the Construction Specifications Institute and the American Concrete Institute. He is currently a volunteer committee member of the ACI 515 Committee, Protective Systems for Concrete.
Rennert has worked on military projects and in OEM product development and support in the polyurea industry for over a decade said the company.
