Loudon, Tennessee -- Bill Gollnitz has been elected president of the trade association Polyurethane Foam Association.
The technical director at the Michigan-based flexible foam maker Plastomer Corporation replaces Joe Progar of Innocor Inc, Advanced Urethanes and Sleep Innovations.
PFA executive director Robert Luedeka said: “Gollnitz is a scientist with a strong management background who has worked in the foam industry for more than four decades.
"He has a deep understanding of how chemistry, manufacturing and suppliers can work together to advance the flexible polyurethane foam industry. We look forward to his leadership which will benefit PFA and all its members.”
