Loudon, Tennessee - The deadline for submitting suggestions for technical presentations for the 3 Nov 2011 Polyurethane Foam Association (PFA) Technical Program is 26 August.
The PFA will hold its General Business Meeting and Technical Program 2 - 3 Nov at the Hyatt Regency in Phoenix, Arizona.
The PFA wants technical papers summarising recent research and product development, field studies, innovations in formulation or production technology and new equipment related to the processing of flexible polyurethane foam, as well as papers on product sustainability and environmental issues.
The association cautions that papers must have a non-commercial focus and specifically address topics related to slabstock or moulded flexible PU foam production in North America.
A maximum of eight presentations of 30 minutes are scheduled for the meeting.
The PFA says a short summary of the intended content must be submitted with any request to make a presentation.
The papers are also eligible for a $500 Technical Excellence Award provided by the Herman Stone Family Endowment.
