Cannes, France — Covestro will be at Trustech explaining how its thermoplastic polyurethane literally holds many peoples identity together in their passports.
Polyurethane in a passport to success

At the heart of the Covestro display will be details of its Platilon thermoplastic polyurethane films which are used to bind modern passports together. The firm says that Platilon materials are used as the hinge of passports because they offer very good fatigue resistance and "can be opened and closed an infinite number of times without affecting the flexibility or tearing at the hinge. The film can also be stitched into a passport."
The firm's polycarbonate business will be discussing its polycarbonate foils which are also used in passports.
Trustech is scheduled to be held on 29 November to 1 December 2016 in Cannes, France.
