Arlington, Virginia -- The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI), has issued a reminder for those wishing to present technical papers at the Polyurethanes 2009 Technical Conference on 5-7 Oct 2009 at the Gaylord National in Fort Washington, Maryland.
The deadline to submit technical paper abstracts is Monday 2 March. Submission instructions and paper guidelines can be found at www.polyurethane.org/s_api/sec_events.asp?CID=934&DID=3649
The CPI points out that papers and posters may address innovations and developments in any polyurethane area -- including flexible slabstock, flexible moulded, rigid foam, soy-based polyols, polyurethane waterborne dispersions, equipment/machinery, cast elastomers, thermoplastic polyurethanes, integral skin, reaction injection moulding (RIM), binders/fillers, coatings, adhesives, sealants and more.
In addition, CPI also encourages submissions on breakthrough technology and innovations in polyurethane markets or chemistry, developing markets such as medical and fibreboard, and product areas such as rigid foam insulation or coatings.
Presentation submissions also may focus on issues such as combustibility, transportation, recreation, security, as well as environmental stewardship issues, including emissions, regulatory developments, waste management and related topics.
