Osnabrück, Germany - Polyvanced is supplying its high-performance polyurethane tubing for the Porsche GT3, the Germany-based company said 9 Dec.
The Hp-Fuel-Strong, which is copper and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene)-free, can withstand pressures of up to 20 bar and temperatures of 90 degC, and meets the DIN 7337 standard, Polyvanced said. The tubing, which is resistant to oils and fuels, is designed to regulate the level control on the GT3's front axle, the statement said.
The Porsche 911 GT3 has been built since 1999 as the sport version of the Porsche 911.
Porsche is also using Polyvanced IP-Hydro-Elast tubing in the production of the pneumatic controls for the seats of its four-door Panamera limousine. (RD)
