Osnabrück, Germany -- Porsche is using polyvanced IP-Hydro-Elast tubing in the production of the pneumatic controls for the seats of its four-door Panamera limousine. "We are the first choice for Porsche and its suppliers as the leading tubing producer with our top-quality products," polyvanced ceo Dr Robert Mayr said 24 Sept. He described this as "the start of a successful partnership."

According to the Osnabrück, Germany-based maker of high-performance polyurethane tubing, in a premium sports coupé, "world-class is of the essence:" polyvanced says it can deliver this with the IP-Hydro-Elast tubing. Flexibility, robustness and "unbeatable service life," are the properties the tubing offers.

Other important specifications advantages include "rugged non-kinking and microbe resistance plus hydrolysis durability," Mayr added.

The Panamera is the latest model from German luxury car maker Porsche: the name is a reference to the Mexican "Carrera Panamericana" long-distance motor race. Porsche started production of the Panamera  in June"
