Described as an “unplanned manufacturing disruption within its polyurethanes division,” it occurred at the company’s propylene oxide and MTBE facility in Port Neches, Texas, said a Huntsman press release.
As previously reported at UTECH-polyurethane.com, Huntsman’s polyurethanes division announced pre-tax earnings totalling $740m during 2013. The company has not revealed the details of the disruption but its statement said the facility was operational again.
