Charleston, South Carolina -- Building industry leaders Protective Coatings Group (PCG) and Demilec (USA) have formed an alliance to offer PCG's mould-prevention products combined with Demilec's polyurethane foam insulation for buildings, the companies said in a 27 April statement.
The two companies intend to expand the use of PCG's flagship product FortiCel (www.forticel.com), along with other PCG mould-prevention solutions through Demilec USA's nationwide network of certified polyurethane foam insulation contractors. According to PCG's managing director, Clint Allen, the partnership allows PCG's products to be made available "to the best insulators in the country."
Dave Lall, vice president and general manager for Demilec (USA) pointed out that since both companies are using identical delivery equipment and have the same installation point, the services of PCG and Demilec (USA) "integrate seamlessly."
The companies share an emphasis on good environmental practices, and are part of the burgeoning "green building" movement. Allen adds, "We share the same guiding principles and commitments to indoor air quality and improved building design, as well as the same dedication to quality," so the alliance makes sense.
