Guangzhou, Guangdong – Contour cutting machine maker Nantong Healthcare Machinery (NHM) has recently expanded into whole factory design, including production, aging, cutting and packaging, the company’s technical manager Lin Changbin told UTECH-polyurethane.com in an exclusive interview at PU China 2017.
‘China’s rising labor cost has forced our clients to adapt to a more automated process,’ said Lin. NHM has already sealed a few of such deals with home furnishing foam makers, the contracts prices’ ranging from CNY 3m ($458,000) to CNY 10m.
Last year the company produced 200 machines and saw its revenue rise by 25% to CNY 100m, 30% of which coming from the overseas markets. ‘The China market has been growing at similar rates but there are a lot of new competitors pouring in,’ Lin added.
NHM also has a new plant with over CNY 100m investment in Nantong, Jiangsu coming on stream within two months, adding its total capacity to 300 machines a year.
