Shanghai, China – Chinese machinery maker Jingzheng is to launch a polyurethane reactive pultrusion line by the end of this year.
The new machine will be designed to produce carbon fibre-reinforced polyurethane for use in products such as wind turbines, new energy vehicles and construction, the company told UTECH-polyurethane.com on the sidelines at PU China/UTECH Asia.
It has been under development for three years, and will cost CNY4m ($620,000), Jingzheng’s general manager Yan Jian told UTECH-polyurethane.com. It is 40m long, and the company claims it is three to five times more productive than the epoxy dipping process.
The company also upgraded its refrigerator PU panel production line with raised automation level in curing and retrieval. It can reduce worker headcount for each line from 15 to 5, Yan said.
Jingzheng is able to manufacturer 100 machines each year. Its revenue has been growing steadily, and last year reached CNY150m, Yan said.
