Silverstone, UK – Lunaz Design has introduced what it claims to be the most sustainable Aston Martin ever built. The Silverstone-based company, which counts former footballer David Beckham among its investors, restores classic British cars from Aston Martin, Bentley, Jaguar, Range Rover and Rolls-Royce, converting them into EVs in the process.
Its conversion of the Aston Martin DB6, originally produced between 1965-1971, entails a bare metal restoration of its Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera-designed body and the replacement of its Tadek Marek-designed in-line six engine with an electric powertrain with a battery capacity of 120kWh and maximum power of 280kW (375bhp).
