San Diego, California – Seating Concepts had added a new PU product to its range of theatre seats. The Contempo has an injection moulded base, removing the need for springs, leading to a seat that is easier to maintain and lasts for longer.
PU foam adds Seating Concepts comfort
The seat is cushioned with cold-moulded, high-density polyurethane foam that will retain its shape over time. The company claims this provides contoured support that makes long-term sitting more comfortable as it supports a better posture, reducing back pain and discomfort.
The lack of springs will also reduce creaking and squeaking as the seat ages, the company says. The seat also has a durable metal counterbalance gravity seat return, allowing an easy shift between upright and reclined positions.
