New Delhi – The Indian Polyurethane Association (IPUA) has postponed the triennial PU TECH exhibition by almost 14 months. The show was originally scheduled to run from 23 to 26 February 2022.
The 6th Polyurethane Exhibition & Conference (PU TECH 2023) will now be held 12and 14 April 2023. It will still be at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida.
'The majority of overseas exhibitors as well as trade visitors requested us to reschedule the show to next year,' said IPUA secretary Murali Mohan.
Travel restrictions because of the pandemic were the major reason for rescheduling the show.
About 170 exhibitors, including about 50 from overseas, were expected to beat the show. 'We are expecting more exhibitors and trade visitors at PU TECH 2023, as five more companies booked with us on announcing the new dates,' Mohan said.
The 2017 event attracted about 140 exhibitors and about 6,000 trade visitors across its three days. The first show was held in 2005.
