Australian cutting machine supplier Wintech sold an oscillating blade cutting machine at PU China 2019.
Jim Tweddle, managing director said, 'it's fantastic to come to a show and sell a machine at the event.'
He explained that the customer visited his stand on the opening day. He had carried out a lot of research into comparable cutting machines from many other companies.
'They had done the research, and were telling me the benefits of my machine,' he said.
The agreement was signed on the second day of the show. The machine will be finding its home at a flexible foam company in Zhejiang province, China.
Tweddle added: 'This is very significant for us. This year we booked our own stand and have had 10 times the number of contacts that we usually do.'
