Wallenhorst. Germany - Plant equipment expert Purplan GmbH, headquartered in Wallenhorst, Germany, has continued to expand internationally, setting up new locations in Kasyseri in Turkey, Maadi in Egypt and Dammam in Saudi Arabia during 2010.

With this new representation the company, which specialises in plant for liquid handing and production, has further expanded its international presence and network of representatives.

"We currently already manage a worldwide clientele," and collaborate with customers to offer a high technical level of service, said Ing Andreas Sandmann, managing director of Purplan, in a 1 July statement.

"As a standalone subsidiary, Shanghai Purplan Ltd has successfully established itself in the market, and its prospects for rapid growth are extraordinary," he added. Purplan aims to build high-quality services with more international locations and is in ongoing talks on further representation in Russia and in India, Sandmann said.

Purplan designs and builds complex systems for storage and production of liquid substances, mainly in polyurethanes and plastics. The company employs more than 120 people worldwide.

A particular strength of Purplan, the company claims, is its ability to offer time-optimised development, which it says can give "enormous time savings."

Purplan can respond immediately to a customer's changing production requirements, and all stages of the supply chain can be completed separately. Purplan will also take over maintenance of the equipment, on request.
