Grafenberg, Germany - Raku-Tool MB-0540, a new eco-board material made using recycled polyols, has been added to the product range of Rampf Tooling, a German producer of board materials, the company said 11 Nov.
The recycled polyol comes from sister company, Rampf Ecosystems, which uses polyurethane waste from within the Rampf group, recycles it and feeds it back into the production cycle, the statement said.
According to Rampf, the board materials allow the user to represent newly developed products in their real shape within a short time. Also, through the close contour shape, the user has less material wastage. The new board features a fine surface structure and is easy to machine and to process manually, the statement added.
"The customer uses a board material that preserves resources -- but fully complies with our high quality standard," said Rampf's managing director Heinz Horbanski.
Applications for the MB-0540 include styling, master and data control models. (RD)"
