Brussels - Recticel, a Belgian polyurethane foam specialist, has agreed to sell its remaining 50.6 percent stake in Corpura BV, for Euro 2.3 million ($3.3 million) to UK-based wound care specialist, Advanced Medical Solutions Group (AMS), the company said 1 Oct.
Corpura was established in 2004 as part of Recticel's Flexible Foams business, developing and producing hydrophilic polyurethane foams from a R&D and manufacturing facility in Etten-Leur, the Netherlands.
The company employs 15 staff and in 2008 reached sales of Euro 3.3 million serving medical and cosmetic/body care applications in the European market, the statement said. (RD)
