Washington, DC -- Registration is now open for the 2012 polyurethanes technical conference, hosted by the US Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) of the American Chemistry Council (ACC). The conference will take place 24 -26 Sept at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta.
"We're excited to celebrate 75 years of polyurethane at this year's conference, as well as showcase the latest innovations that will advance our industry for the next 75 years," said Lee Salamone, senior director of CPI. "With fourteen technical sessions, attendees will learn about the latest developments and advancements from the best in the industry."
This year's conference features more than 55 technical presentations and provides leaders and professionals with an opportunity to learn about the latest innovations, technical developments and issues affecting the global polyurethanes industry.
At the 24 Sept opening session, ACC president and ceo Cal Dooley will deliver the conference's keynote address. The 2012 Polyurethane Innovation Award, which honours the role that innovation plays in the industry, will be presented during the conference's closing session, 26 Sept. Nominations for this year's award will be accepted until 5 pm Eastern Time, 29 June.
