New Jersey, US – Heather Remley has started her new role as president and CEO of BASF Corporation, the German company’s US business. She has been with the company since 2016, and most recently ran its global engineering services division, based in Ludwigshafen. This followed a spell as SVP for the North American petrochemicals business, based in Houston.

Remley is a Pennsylvania-born mechanical engineering graduate. “Having gained invaluable experience working across the globe, I am excited to return to the US and build on our strong foundation of innovation, performance culture and passion for chemistry,” she said.
“We are delighted to welcome Heather back home to the US as president and CEO,” said Anup Kothari, the BASF board member with responsibility for North America. “Her extensive leadership and industry expertise will be instrumental in enabling our global operating divisions and service units in the US while driving the company’s winning culture, in line with the global ‘Winning Ways’ strategy.”
