Chennai, India – Revenue at polyols producer Manali rose by INR 675 m to INR 1.62 bn ($25 m) in in the third quarter of 2017.
This compares with INR 1.55 bn in the same period in 2016.
Profit before exceptional items and tax rose from INR 20.5 m in the first quarter of 2016 to INR 28.9 m in the 2017 quarter. The company made savings of INR 50.5m in purchases of trade goods. Manali made a major saving of INR 170m as a result of the changes in GST that occurred last year.
Manali added that the lease negotiations with the local government of Tamil Nadu are continuing.
