Garden Grove, California - Engineered plastics and polyurethane maker Elasco has reported revenue of $2.5 million for the three quarters ended 30 June 2011, an increase of 27.5 percent over the same period in 2010.
Elasco, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deltron Inc., also said gross profit for the nine months was $451 598, a 114-percent increase year-on-year. Earnings (EBITDA) grew by 522 percent to $177 156.
Deltron said in a 26 Aug statement that Elasco revenues for the third quarter ended 30 June 2011 were $782 970. Although sales at the company decreased by 8.4 percent from Q3 2010, Elasco "achieved a significant increase in profitability." Gross profit was up 30.4 percent to $117 942, Deltron said.
Elasco moulds and manufactures plastics and polyurethane at its production facility in southern California. The company provides complete design and manufacturing services from prototype work to custom casting and proprietary polymer mixing.
