San Diego, California -- Rhino Linings Corp. which makes protective coatings for truck beds, industrial uses and for customised military projects, has expanded its range to include 1:1 mix ratio spray protective coatings.
With these new formulations, Rhino Linings said it "is making it easier for industrial applicators and OEM clients to utilise fast set polyurethanes and polyureas for containment linings, steel coatings or virtually application where protection against abrasion, corrosion and impact is required."
These new formulations, together with Rhino Lining's 2:1 systems, extend the number of applicators who can now offer Rhino Linings solutions to their customers, said Pierre Gagnon, president and ceo of Rhino Linings, in a 15 July company statement.
· Rhino TuffGrip 11-90 is the group's most versatile hybrid polyurea lining formulation. The spray-on elastomer formulation provides toughness and colour stability, with non-skid grip.
· Rhino HardLine 11-55 is a tough hybrid polyurea lining for strong, attractive protection. It is the company's hardest truck-bed lining, for uses with heavy impact and scratching.
· Rhino Extreme 11-90 is a pure polyurea lining for extreme conditions. It can be applied at low temperatures or in high humidity, provides high physical properties and fast cure. The product offers "superior hardness, tensile strength, elongation and tear abrasion resistance" for commercial, industrial and military applications.
The company explains that, although truck bed liners for pick-ups are a common uses, the coatings permanently protect concrete, wood, fibreglass and foam substrates in industrial and manufacturing environments.
Rhino's versatility also makes it ideal for uses outside automotive, including pipelines, storage tanks, building/architectural parts, steel poles, sanitary ware, moulded parts, and more, the company claims.
