San Diego, California - Rhino Linings, a provider of urethane, polyaspartic and epoxy coatings and linings, has introduced a new roof-coating system for certified commercial roof and general contractors, a 31 Aug company statement said.
The eco-friendly coating system features a range of coating materials including Rhino spray polyurethane foam (SPF). According to Rhino, "SPF roofing systems are cost competitive with other systems and have demonstrated over a 30-year life span to cost between 10 percent and 50 percent less on average than comparably insulated membrane roof systems."
"We're excited about our entry into the roof coatings market," said Pierre Gagnon, company president and ceo. "Rhino Linings has a 20-plus year history of identifying and manufacturing innovative chemical formulations and an eco-friendly roofing system is a natural extension of our expertise. We're looking to add new certified roofing contractors to our global network of professional roofing applicators to help us become a major world-wide provider of roof coating solutions," Gagnon added.
Additional Rhino roof coatings available in the eco-friendly roof coating system include: Rhino Eco-Coat, an aluminised polyurea top coat applied over foam or metal roofs providing enhanced UV stability; Rhino Acrylic Top Coat applied over foam in hot, dry climates for UV resistance on sloped roofs; and Rhino Silicone Top Coat used in rainy weather and extreme temperature environments, the statement said.
