San Diego, California - Coating specialist Rhino Linings Corp. has set up a unit to serve the needs of the residential garage flooring market. Named Rhino Home Pro, the new division offers products "specifically formulated for the home market, beginning with garage floors, walkways and decks," said Rhino's 22 April announcement.
Rhino Home Pro products will be launched in late spring, said the statement.
Previously Rhino's focus has been on truck bed liners, industrial coatings and customised military projects. The new division builds on Rhino Linings' corporate strengths and distribution approach, by taking advantage of the company's centrally located warehouse, distribution and blending plant operations.
Rhino Home Pro offers cross-over dealership opportunities to qualified Rhino Linings dealers as well as separate businesses or individuals in the home improvement market.
"Our considerable resources stand ready to drive this new business unit to ensure its success. We believe the US residential market is ripe for innovative quality products backed by a national name brand," said Pierre Gagnon, president and ceo of Rhino Linings Corp. said in a company statement.
Rhino Linings claims its two innovative FastFloor products "outperform traditional flooring product options in installation time, toughness and beauty," Gagnon added. LW
One FastFloor product is decorative flooring for the home garage, walkway or concrete decking market, which can be installed in a day, "has superior resistance to hot tyre peel," has good chemical resistance and is easy to clean. Another is a high-build polyurethane coating designed for industrial uses with high wear and tear, in restaurants, commercial buildings, and manufacturing plants, for example.
