Rogers, Connecticut - Rogers Corp.'s High Performance Foams business has seen record third quarter sales of $33.9 million, an increase of around 15 percent from the $29.5 million recorded in the third quarter (Q3) of 2007, the company said 29 Oct.
Rogers said the record sales were fuelled by the strength of it Poron polyurethane foam materials unit across several markets, in particular in the consumer electronics market and in major mobile phone applications.
Rogers reported Q3 2008 revenues of $101.7 million with net earnings of $0.51 per diluted share.
Rogers is a major developer and manufacturer of high performance, speciality-material-based products.
