Woodstock, Connecticut - Rogers Corp. has introduced a foam tape that the company said will benefit original equipment manufacturers of smart phones and tablets.
The product, called Poron foam tape, supplies bond, profile and protection, according to the company. The material shares advantages of other Poron urethanes, the company said, including the ability for watersealing, compression and dimensional stability.
Rogers specializes in materials and components for consumer electronics, power electronics, mass transit, clean technology and telecommunications infrastructure. The High Performance Foam Division is one of its three core businesses.
